| Purpose | The principal sum invested in The Fund is guaranteed against diminition in value provided taht Units are help for a minimum of three months. The Fund may make annual income distributions. The Fund aims to achieve long-term capital appreciation of its assets by investing in a portfolio of fixed income securities including Federal Giverment bonds, State Goverment bonds, corporate bonds and money market securities, and in other securities approved by SEC. |
| Utilization of Proceeds | The Fund will invest a minimum of 75% of its assets in fixed income securities (including bonds issued by the Federal and State Goverments and Corporations, Commercial Papers, Banker's Acceptances and Treasurey Bills) while a maximum of 25% may be invested in high quality securities quoted on The NSE, if deemed profitable by the Fund Manager. The Fund Manager's choice of fixed income securities will be biased as much as possible in favour of securities which are tax exempt or offer the best after-tax return. |
