The banking sub sector maintained its dominance on the activity chart with a 380 31 million shares worth N5 billion exchanged by investors in 8.738 deals. `It was followed by the Insurance sub sector with a turnover pf 22.7 million shares valued at N56.6 million exchanged in 350 deals . Activities in the sector were boosted by shares of Niger Insurance. Trading at the over the counter Bond market recorded a turnover pf 12.12 million units worth N13.3 billion in 103 deals were recorded for the week ended December 29,2006 |
